The Evadale Catfish Festival is a community minded
organization that seeks to do good things for a great community. It recognizes that the Catfish
Festival will continue to be an event for years to come, but will make a difference in the lives
of the community on an ongoing basis.
Long Term Goals
Acquire land for a community park, construct park facilities on land and once completed provide
for the maintenance of the park.
Intermediate Goals
Make capitol improvements to the area on the Evadale ISD campus where the Catfish Festival is
held. These improvements will be with the permission of the school district and will be their
property once improvements are completed.
